CRUELLY ENTHRALLING
Taking the seat
He glanced at the doorway accidentally.
An all too tiny worm stood there
Rising in a delicate swirl.
For a moment he took it to be
Its dance of ecstasy….
Then it dawned….
It was on the throes of death
crushed under hurrying feet…
Worlds apart, wondering what to do
He turned away – appalled
Bemoaning
O, what a cruelly enthralling Vanity Fair
Life is…..
குரூர வசீகரம்
அவசர அவசரமாய் அறைக்குள் நுழைந்து
இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்தவர் யதேச்சையாய்
வாயில்பக்கம் பார்க்க
அங்கே ஒரு நுண்ணிய புழு
அதிநளினமாய்ச் சுழன்றபடி....
ஒரு கணம் அதையோர் அதிபரவச நடனமாகக் கண்டார்.
மறுகணம் புரிந்தது….
விரையுங்கால்களில் மிதிபட்டுஅது இறந்துகொண்டிருப்பது.
இணை[ப்பற்ற
இருவேறு உலகங்களாய்
செய்வதறியாமல் அப்பால் திரும்பிக்கொண்டார்
கதிகலங்கி யனத்தியபடி:
”ஐயோ, என்னவொரு
குரூர வசீகரக் கண்காட்சி
இந்த வாழ்க்கை”
