poem by rishi
Tearing
off the soft wings of butterfly
One
by one
With
the precision of a professional killer
She
declared:
“Have
you ever cared to catch a
butterfly?
Have
you ever held it in between your fingers?
Have
you ever cared to look into its eyes?
Have
you ever dared to go anywhere near this lovely Insect?
I
have done it all and more
Thus
I am entitled to torture it to the core.
Beware
Butchering
a butterfly is my prerogative.”
Lo
_
Declaring
so
Changing
colours as chameleon
_Now
modern, now primitive
She
started penning poem supreme
on
butterfly maimed.
Engulfed
in fear am I here
Praying
for her dear ones’welfare.
