a missionary school; studied Mech. Engineering {B. E] from
V.J T Institute
Bombay; Have worked in several Engg. organisations in Bombay.
Now, Retired and settled in Mylapore, Chennai.

‘Life is a Game of Cards’ - so I have read somewhere. In one
shuffle some come together. In the next shuffle they don’t. same way, I chanced
to meet Mr.G.Venkatesh, the author of this book in the park where Padmini Madam
whom I adore and respect a lot and myself used to visit occasionally. When he
heard about our blogs he expressed a desire to have one for himself. Soon his
blog www.venkiviews.blogspot.in was launched. My Tamil translations of
his articles too started getiing uploaded in his blogspot.
His blemishless English and his interesting anecdotes and observations
and the range of subjectsdealt by him in his write-ups made me feel that it
would be nice if his wiritngs are compiled in a book form. It was originally
printed and published as a bilingual volume with the musings of blogger
Mr.G.Venkatesh translated into Tamil by me. But, in Kindle book form just the
author’s English articles are there as the Tamil font proved troublesome. Hope
to include the Tamil versions too as early as possible
