Tamil serials are horrible and highly anti-woman. But these days no voice is raised against these even by feminist groups. 

Serials are more dangerous than cinema, for cinemas at least if only we go to the theatre we can see or even if seeing it at home it will be over in two hours, but serials go on and on and on - this is sheer hell and it impacts the adolescents at home in every possible manner. 

And, they determine the equations between men and women and between various relationships. These serial-makers have no social consciousness or social responsibility at all and they churn out stories highly detrimental to a healthy society. 

They decry women's liberation, they decry equality, they uphold all kinds of age-old unwanted social values. It is high time some serious thought was given about these social maladies called serials, nay, mega serials. 

They are a menace to the growth and development of human race, so to say.
